Upvoted: W3 Total Cache & multisite install

As an FYI to my friends at /r/wordpress.

I use total cache for cdn and minify (nginx as page cache) and recently I did an update and my cdn stopped working on my site. After a couple of hours of digging this is what I found and it isnt well documented. If you login as network administrator, then network enable total cache. A performance menu will appear on the network administrator dashboard. If you go to general settings you can uncheck "Use single network configuration file for all sites." This will allow you to control the setting per subsite. I have a different cdn for each subsite and when the controls disappeared from the dashboard it was very confusing. Now I have it all back to how it used to be and I am as happy with total cache as ever. I can see the benifit for using all the same settings for the entire multisite network but that was not how I had things set up and it was troubling when it all changed by default. Hope that helps someone.
